Essentials 8-15 continues to review and build on the concepts taught in units 1-7. Students will work on r-controlled phonograms, vowel types, and dividing syllables. Students will be introduced to new multi-letter phonograms and spelling rules as well as continue working with what they have already learned.
The set up of the units is the same. Each unit is broken into five parts. There are three levels in each unit. Once you have completed Units 1-7, you should continue to 8-15 at the same level of difficulty (A, B, or C). When you have completed 8-15, you will move on to 16-22 at the same level and then 23-30. Once you have completed all 30 units, you may go back to Unit 1 and complete the units at the next level up.
